The Kids’ Cancer Project

The Kids’ Cancer Project is an independent national charity that supports childhood cancer research. Since 1993, thanks to strong community support, they have been able to contribute tens of millions of dollars to scientific studies to help children with many types of cancer.

The Kids’ Cancer Project believes the only way to improve outcomes for kids with cancer is through advances in medical research. Their priorities are finding better treatments, building research capabilities, and supporting survivorship programs.

Why We Chose The Kids’ Cancer Project

We decided to host a fundraising auction for The Kids’ Cancer Project because they support research for all types of cancer, not just the type my son was diagnosed with. During our time on ward, we met many families fighting different types of cancer which taught us that no cancer is better than another or deserves more research funding. Treatment for every type of cancer is brutal and there must be advances made across the board – and this is what The Kids’ Cancer Project is committed to.
