Online Charity Auction for Childhood Cancer Research
Madeline’s Story Online Charity Auction is NOW CLOSED. Thank you all for your support. If you missed out on the auction, you can still donate to our cause at our direct fundraiser link here.
The past two years have been full of surprises: good, bad and ugly. My youngest was born in January 2020, my middle child was diagnosed with cancer in April 2020, and our family was isolated from home for 12 months due to cancer treatment and COVID restrictions. This isolation and childhood cancer experience opened my eyes and heart to the need for kinder, more effective treatments for children battling cancer.
To celebrate my 40th birthday on the 15th December 2021, we hosted an online charity auction, so we could support childhood cancer research with the help of my friends, family, and businesses across Tasmania, Australia, and beyond. This fundraising event raised money for The Kids Cancer Project, an independent national charity supporting childhood cancer research.
